Alcohol will not : Help or worsen your uti, but left untreated (if in fact your self-diagnosis is correct) you might really be sick by tuesday. Staying hydrated is good if you have symptoms of uti, but don't overdo it or you decrease your body's ability to fight the infection. "flushing" with water is not going to do anything but rehydrate you, and that's ok, but shouldn't be considered enabling your alcohol use! ...Read more

Drinking lot of water helps to flush out bacteria causing infection, making U urinate more often. UTi symptoms: May be allergy to fructose , or food coloring. Do any solid foods cause this?
