Sir am working in super market soft drink section. Now sir some time brown cough coming...What is this....Am very confuse?
Not the soft drinks: It is not an effect of the soft drinks directly. You probably have allergy, and yes it could be to the soft drinks if they pop. The color of your secretion is from the cells involved in the inflammation. Allergy sometimes causes popping of the superficial blood vessels and cause yellow or brownish secretion. Eosinophils and basophils from allergy can also cause discolored secretions. ...Read more

You can't spot reduce, so aiming for specific reduction in abdominal circumference may prove frustrating. Abdominal exercise will certainly tone your 6-pack which you can show off nicely once total weight reduction is achieved. There is no substitute for healthy eating & exercise to reach your goal. ...Read more

Not a good idea: The better person to ask would be a trainer, all of whom believe that use of alcohol is bad for athletes, especially when they are training. Obviously, this depends on whether we are talking about an occasional beer the night before, or heavier drinking. Alcohol can damage muscles and nerves, and causes metabolic changes that do not promote healthy metabolism. Wouldn't do it. ...Read more

When you are working out, when is best time to hydrate/drink water- before, during, after or all of these?
Watered down Answer.: There are various ways to look at this. Water before and after should be sufficient to deal with the hydration issue. Hydrating during exercise uses valuable energy to absorb the water through the gut and thus reducing energy to the muscles target in the workout. Good hydration: Yes, a good rule of thumb is eight 8 oz glasses of h2o daily. But increase intake if high level of perspiration, hot climate, length of exercise. Weighing yourself prior to your exercise, then afterwards gives you an idea of how much water weight you've lost, which you should try to match with fluids. Adding some electrolytes to your water can help with "salt" loss. ...Read more

Could daily grapefruit make antidepressant wellbuton stop working? I have been very stable. But added in veg drnk 2 wks now I am in black hole deprssn. I drink the veg/frt drink in AM. Meds in PM.
Possibly: It certainly sounds temporally related. Classically grapefruit inhibit p450 cyp3a4 which would drive up the concentration of any medications also using that enzyme and giving you side effects not negation. Also Wellbutrin (bupropion) uses 2b6 and 2d6 which are not the same enzymes. This is nice in theory but you have a strong temporal association and should check in with your prescriber if feeling depressed ...Read more
