Drink Juice Baby Move
My baby's poop is a bit orange in color, this started showing up this week when she started taking Tiki tiki drops for babies. Not sure if this is due to the carrot juice based veggie drink she's taking or due to the baby drops... She's doing ok, lively,
Either/ or: Poop color can reflect the undigested food coloring in what you feed them.If you have a good time line and know it is one or the other, you can either stop them or not. I don't think the color of the poo makes any difference if the kid is thriving. ...Read more
Yes,but: I seldom recommend juice in infancy unless i'm using it to loosen an infant's stools. Many use them in diluted form, but i personally consider them like feeding an infant a coke. If the kid is to experience an apple it should be in the form of apple sauce, not processed juices. The same goes for the other juices. We need to avoid creating sugar addicts in the cradle. ...Read more
Feeding baby: There are different opinions for when to introduce foods to your baby. Early introduction of some foods may cause reactions. It is best to go with your doctor's recommendation. It is very common to start cereal after 3 months and fruit at 4. Veggies at 5 mos and meat at 6. Do not start more than one new food per week to see if there are any reactions. Juice would be considered a fruit. ...Read more

9 mo, but not needed: I would say about nine months, but in moderation. Juice--even natural juice--has a lot of sugar, and isn't as nutritious as all the hype suggests. Better than 'juice drinks', yes, but not that much better. I often suggest diluting it. But, juice is not necessary for your child. It has vitamin c, yes, but that is easily obtained from many other sources. ...Read more
Is it safe to add a little of vanilla extract to my 6 month old baby's bottle? He will not drink his formula, but will chug down juice.
Oy! Juice is a very : Sugary liquid that's not needed by infants & should be limited to 4 oz./day when given to a toddler from a cup. If you sweeten formula for an neurotypical 6-mo.-old, it'll become a learned behavior (habit) that will be hard to break. Please see your pediatrician about this. Formulas also contain sugar, so wipe out his mouth before putting him in his crib, drowsy but awake, to fall asleep. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have a 10 month old baby she's not drinking as much as i'd like if tried water juice pedilite she just won't drink it any suggestions?
Yes: I suppose it is no worse than most juices. I don't specifically like juices in childhood as it offers too much sugar /sweet at a time their brain is forming their likes & dislikes. I'd rather have a slim kid who avoided sweets than an obese one that couldn't get through a meal without a sweet treat. ...Read more
