Other than medical conditions & lotta meds. I have LOW sodium. I only drink diet soda (which HAS sodium) 12-14 cans daily! Why would sodium b low??

Too much soda: That is far too much soda. It's making your sodium low based on how your kidneys will handle the soda you are drinking. Your body very tightly regulates your sodium, so you will mostly just pee out the sodium. However, if you drink more volume of liquid than your kidneys can get rid of, then you end up holding on to the fluid and this dilutes the sodium you have in your body. ...Read more

Is it good for a person with diabetes (type 2) to drink diet soda to keep hydrated?

Is it good for a person with diabetes (type 2) to drink diet soda to keep hydrated?

Not really: Diet sodas do not help with weight loss, and usually have a heavy load of phosphoric acid. The artificial sweeteners paradoxically increase the need for sweets elsewhere in the diet. You can have 1 or 2 12oz servings without much downside. More than that is excessive. The best hydrating agent is simply water. It is less expensive, healthier, and has no side effects. Water is a better than soda. ...Read more

Cipro (ciprofloxacin): Given that you are in the U.S. The pharmacist would have given you specific instructions about what to be avoided with cipro. Dairy would be on that list. Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Robaxin would not be on the list of drug interactions.

Yeast?: STDs rarely cause urethral itching in men, no surprise standard STD tests are negative. If urethral discharge, consider nongonococcal urethritis (NGU), an STD usually caused by bacteria not detected with routine STD tests. If your diabetes is poorly controlled, maybe yeast (candida). Hard to imagine an allergic cause, or that it really is connected with diet soda. Keep working w/ your doctor. ...Read more
