Diet and muscle mass: To gain weight, a person has to consume more calories than he is burning (using up each day). Do this in a healthy way though. Don't eat too much junk food or fast food. Keep a well balanced diet and make sure you are getting all the nutrients you need. Keep exercising as it is very good for you. Weight lifting and other muscle building exercises can help a person increase his body mass. ...Read more
Sort of...: If you are having active sex, you should be followed by a gynecologist routinely. If you think you have active hpv warts, or have skin nodules in the mouth due to hpv, then see the gynecologist immediately (or ear/nose/throat doc as appropriate). Simply being exposed to hpv won't cause immediate problems, but warrants knowledge and routine follow up with your gynecologist. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
It is a phase!: Your job as a parent is to buy the right food, prepare it nutritiously and serve it creatively. Leave the rest up to your child. How much they eat, when they eat, and if they eat is their responsibility. After a year of rapid growth (the average one-year-old has tripled birth weight), toddlers gain weight more slowly. Aim for a nutritionally-balanced week, not a balanced day. Offer, don't force. ...Read more
What is the probability of a boy using modified eriscsson method for gender selection. Our dr says 85%. Am lost with views. What is the official %?
Good morning Dr! Iam 28 year old boy and iam losing sperm almost 3 to 6 times in a month during night sleeps. 1.)Is it affect my physical growth? 2.
Can wait and see :): There are lots of myths that are out there. Plus people try to "help" pregnant women. An ultrasound by an experienced OB doctor is a good way to predict gender, but the most accurate test before birth is chromosome study. Most people don't want to take the risk of getting amnio without a good reason, however. Finding out at delivery if it is a boy or girl is a delight, so some just wait and see! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Dear dr. I have a 14 old boy. He has 183cm height and 73 killos. He has blood pressure 125/83. It's pressure ok or height.?
Probably: Based on height and age, his blood pressure reading falls in the above average range. However, many things can affect blood pressure readings, such as activity, nervousness, and properly sized blood pressure cuff (too small of a cuff can give falsely high reading). If you are concerned and if there's family history of high blood pressure and heart disease, please talk to his doctor. ...Read more
Good day Dr. I have a 22days old baby boy with a pink spot at the back of his head neck, so I would like to know what must I do to remove it,?
Nothing: Without seeing the spot in person it's difficult to provide a certain diagnosis. Many babies are born with "stork bites" -red/salmon colored areas - on the back of their necks/heads. It is a birthmark and nothing to worry about and will fade over time on it's own. If you are still concerned please have a pediatrician evaluate it before subjecting your baby to unnecessary and potentially harmful tx ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Wouldn't use either: A 2 mo is congested and coughs because they have irritants, odors, dust, etc. Triggering nasal congestion. A good nasal wash out and suction with saline drops should be all the kid needs. Eliminate the nasal irritants and the kid may improve. ...Read more

Hydronephrosis: It is not uncommon for the diagnosis of hydronephrosis (large kidneys) to show up on prenatal ultrasounds. Generally speaking, these are followed throughout the pregnancy and postnataly (after the baby is born). Vacuum del./head: Usually the head sweling should subside by now. Does ur baby have any neuroplogical problems? If not then talk to ur pediatrician and wait another month or two. Sometoiems the vaccum suctioning can cause a hematoma or in some cases can distort the baby's soft cranial bones. U should see ur pediatrician and bring it to his/her attetnion.
