Keep in mind that GDNF is a promising treatment for Parkinson's disease, offering the ability to restore normal dopamine production w/in the brain. The HealthTap doctor is usually not involved with the paperwork required by the patient's medical system or his insurance system. They haven't been...: Diseases transmitted by mosquitos are largely a problem in tropical climates. The UK has typically experienced only nuisance mosquito bites. However I read that there are concerns about disease carrying mosquitos having entered the country through imported tires from the Far East. I would watch for NHS bulletins regarding this. Intn't referrals!: Will that radiologist accept a referral from a doctor not licensed in your country? If so, will a copy of your medical chart note, accessible to you with the recommendation be enough? Or would a letter or e-mail be enough? Endarterectomy: An endarterectomy is done when there is a blockage in a blood vessel. There are two things that can be done. The artery can be opened, the blockage removed and a shunt can be placed to keep the vessel from closing back up. Is a bit low: Normal Body temperature is around 36-37C and can vary during the day and night. 35.7 is bit low, body temps below 35 C are considered Hypothermia. Also it depends on how you obtained the temperature. Body temps by mouth are not the most accurate and can be off by as much as 0.5C.
