I have hep c due to getting a tattoo in someones home in 1987. My dr. Says hep c treatment is no picnic. Please explain?

Yes, in small doses: Vitamin c can enhance iron absorption (something most with thalassemia don't need) but also enhance iron excretion if taken with desferal.
