Keratinocyte growth factor for hair loss treatment?

KGF and hair growth

Alopecia
Abstract Keratinocyte growth factor-2 (KGF-2) is found in dermal papilla fibroblasts and its receptor, fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR2), in the neighboring outer root sheath of keratinocytes. Administration of recombinant human KGF-2 (rhKGF-2) at 10 ng ml(-1) significantly stimulated human hair-follicle cell proliferation in organ culture (26-35%). Thus, rhKGF-2 is a promising therapeut

If it worked

Than everyone would know about it! They have combined multiple ingredients good for hair regrowth. Saw palmetto which prevents conversion of test. Multiple vasodilators ginkgo, niacin. Minoxidil is added which is why it might have some effect. It will probably work on crown but not frontal balding. If you want a no surgical option oil into PRP injections.

Does long-term uses of Minoxidil(Rogaine), for hair loss treatment, have severe side -effect? I have CKD. Please rush.

Depends absorption?

Minoxidil
It really depends on the systemic absorption and this will likely be reflected by your blood pressure. It is unlikely t have an effect but I would discuss with your nephrologist

i am putting all my pulpatitions and anxiety down to use of regaine hair loss treatment which contains minoxidill.it has messed my life up.could this be the cause as ive been of numerous websites with men stating the same thing?

Probably not.

Palpitations
Contrary to what you read online, side effects from Rogaine are rare. There are many common causes of palpitations. You need to see your family doctor or a cardiologist and find out exactly what is causing them. It could be the Rogaine, or just too much coffee - but it could be something more serious. Don't assume it's the Rogaine.

Hair Conditioning

Any treatment for total hair loss?

Total hair loss

230px-alopeciatotalis
Hair loss from the entire scalp is a form of alopecia areata (AA), called alopecia totalis. Alopecia areata can also cause hair loss over the entire body - alopecia totalis. AA is an autoimmune condition where the immune system cells attack hair follicles and cause hair to fall out. There are treatments for AA. Success depends on the extent of hair loss and how long the hairs are gone.

Is there a treatment for hair loss?

Depends

Alopecia
It depends on the type of hair loss. If this is a genetic pattern of loss then there isn't much that will really keep you from losing more. Other types may have an underlying problem that, if treated, will allow your hair to come back. I would suggest seeing a dermatologist to help you sort it all out.
