Unlikely: If you have regular periods, it's unlikely that having intercourse on Feb. 24 would cause a late period. More important is whether or not you had sex earlier in the month and whether or not you used contraception. Mean BP: I'm guessing you are not interested in the concept of mean arterial pressure which incorporates aspects of systolic & diastolic pressure. Mean or average BP is the same thing. When trying to assess effectiveness of BP control I tell my patients to keep a log of BP & hr so we can average or take a mean of those values & make treatment decisions at their next office visit.
