Doxycycline Cream Acne
Using creams like acnederm resolveplus and doxydar and nephron tabs (doxycycline hyclate). Any advice about using these acne meds to cure pimples?
I take birth control for acne along with doxycycline and antibiotic creams. I am afraid when I stop taking bc, acne will return worse than ever.?
May not: You need to give it try. It is imperative that you use an alternative method of contraception if you are sexually active. You may consider getting an IUD before stopping bc. It would be useful to consult your doctor who prescribed BC as s/he knows your health history better. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
I'm on acne treatment. Using doxycycline and some kind of cream. Yesterday I was having sex without protection. Is there harmful if I get pregnant?
Drugs pregnancy: I don't know what cream is but stop medications if pregnant
I used doxycyclin+benzyl beroxide cream for 3months then I used erythro+azeliac acid cream for 2months then I used clyndamicin as wash. Acne returned!

Yes, doxy helps: Doxycycline and Minocycline are antibiotics often used to treat acne in teen boys. They are not used as often in girls, because these antibiotics are not used during pregnancy, and teen girls may unexpectedly become pregnant. Antibiotic gels and creams are also used, and may contain Clindamycin or erthromycin antibiotic.See 1 more doctor answer

No difference: Doxycycline and minocycline are almost the same antibiotic, only a minor chemical difference -- equally active against acne (or any other infection). Mino has generally been used more frequently for acne, but that doesn't mean doxy doesn't work well. The main difference is that doxy is more likely to cause photosensitivity, i.e. tendency for sunburn. Mino may be better in sunny Portugal!
Take them 2-3 hrs: Apart. Here is the reference: http://www. Drugs. Com/interactions-check. Php? Drug_list=940-0, 1665-15026.
You can't.: There is no way to "speedup the effect of doxy". Combined with other medicines like adding topical tretinoin cream etc. May help. They complement each other.
Maybe: There is always that possibility. Continue the entire course.
Is it true that you can become resistant to doxycycline and than acne will come back worse than you started with?
It's unlikely: Since the Doxycycline is NOT BEING USED as an ANTIBIOTIC rather a non-specific ant-acne effect!! It IS true however that resistant organisms might develop and cauuse trouble elsewhere THUS it's a good idea to talk with your DErMATOLOGIST about alternative/complimentary methods to treat your acne! After I stop doxycycline, will my acne come back? If yes, what's the point of taking doxycycline in the first place?
Keeps under control: Apart from acute infections, surgical problems, and the handful of cancers that can be cured with chemotherapy or radiation, medicine is all about controlling and managing disease rather than curing it. Surely you would not refuse to take a painkiller for a broken bone because the bone will still be broken tomorrow, or deny the value of Insulin that keeps a diabetic alive today.
Using for acne, Can I stop taking doxycycline (DOXOL)100mg after one month? Is there any side effect if I stop suddenly?
Do Doxycyclin: No side effects will occur by stopping it.
