Is 1g of azithromycin and 400 mg of cefixime good against gonorrhea? Tried doxy+cipro already and it didn't work. I'm in Thailand, allergic penicilin
Should be OK: Gonorrhea bacteria in SE Asia, including Thailand, often are resistant to both ciprofloxacin and doxycycline, so no surprise they didn't work. Cefixime and azithromycin should be OK, but the best option would have been a shot of ceftriaxone 250 mg instead of cefixime. You should be retested in a couple of week to be sure it's gone; if not, see an STD expert and discuss ceftriaxone. Good luck. ...Read more

Could antibiotic: Minomycin (in Australia), or minocycline hydrochloride, (prescribed as 3 month course - acne) cause suicidal tendencies/ depression?
Not likely, but: There've been some reported mood change effects - not common and severity is not mentioned. If you have a tendency toward this sort of intense depression, it might be wise to avoid this elective medication in favor of an alternative approach. Only you and your doctor know how crucial acne Tx is for you. One ting that may help is knowing it's not a meaningful depression - just short-term chemistry. ...Read more

Can adderral given 3 times a day 15 mg in addition to lamictal
and klonopin (clonazepam) make someone with major depression mean, hostile and aggressive?
Side reactions?: I'm not quite sure what your problem is, but isn't it rather clear that the medications you are receiving are not really solving your problems? My guess is that your medication regimen is making you worse. You may want to see a board certified psychiatrist for this. If you were my patient, i could imagine first tapering and discontinuing those meds and seeing what you're like off of them. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Can I take both doxycycline 100 mg. And nitrofurantoin mcr 50 mg. For a kidney and u.t.i. infection.
Unusual treatment: This is an unusal combination of drugs. Your kidney infection and UTI are the same thing. Nitrofurantoin should be used only for lower tract (bladder) but not kidney infections. Doxycycline is a somewhat unusual drug for any UTI. Also, UTIs are uncommon in males. Are you sure you don't have NGU or prostatitis? Doxy is more common for these than for kidney infection. Discuss w/ your doctor. ...Read more
