In the genes: All of our features are determined by our genes. The appearance of your eyes, nose, mouth, hair color, skin color, among other features are all inherited. When there is a defect in the gene coding, changes can occur. Facial features can change with in utero exposure such as alcohol (fas syndrome). For downs, the extra 21 causes low ears, slanted eyes, simian crease as well as organ problems. ...Read more

If I don't treat amblyopia, will my eye shut down with time?

If I don't treat amblyopia, will my eye shut down with time?

More or less: The 2 cameras (eyes) that provide video input are used by the brain as long as the image quality is acceptable. What happens if amblyopia (lazy eye) is not treated in time? Does the eye shut down or do glasses help?

Turning off vision: The human brain utilized the input of both eyes to aid in depth perception/distance etc. As a child grows, their eyes may have different strength, or weakness in an eye muscle may allow one to line up wrong. When I lay down and about to sleep. When my eyes close I feel like I'm falling. And when I open them I feel wared out. Any cure or treatment? Help!!!

Go to bed earlier!: You may be very exhausted when going to bed, and during pre-sleep there is a phase where the muscles are slightly stiff then relax (hypnagogic myoclonic twitch or “Hypnic jerk”) that is normal before entering into sleep. It's just that you are overly aware of this sensation, versus being already asleep. So, it's more pronounced when you're overtired! See: http://www. Failedsuccess. Com/index. Php? /web ...Read more
