Have a rash on my fingers, it blisters, peels, itches, ect, it was assumed to be related to ra, but could this be a sign of lupus instead?

Probably right: It does sound like you have dyshidrosis or eczema of the hands. This is usually treated with topical cortisone creams, decreasing the number of times a day you wash your hands, using a mild soap and rubber gloves with cotton gloves underneath them when you do the dishes. I thought I had paronychia but now along with the cuticle infection there is about 10 wart like or blisters starting to form in the same finger. Er??
Herpes? Staph?: It could stil be paronychia with a secondary staph infection. But this also sounds like herpes (called herpetic whitlow when it involves the finger). This would be most likely if you also have newly acquired oral or genital herpes; or your finger were in contact with the oral or genital area of someone with herpes.
