Dose Lupus Cause Small Clear Blisters On Finger Cuticles
Have a rash on my fingers, it blisters, peels, itches, ect, it was assumed to be related to ra, but could this be a sign of lupus instead?
Dyshidrotic Eczema: Dyshidrotic eczema is a condition in which small, usually itchy blisters develop on the hands or feet or both. Causes, incidence, and risk factors this blistering type of eczema is twice as common in women than men. People are more likely to develop dyshidrotic eczema when: they are under stress they have allergies, such as hayfever their hands are often in water or moist they do cement work.
The top part of my pointer finger near the cuticle is swollen, very sore. Its almost like there was a deep blister. Also now a small hole is this bad?
Sounds: Like infection, warm compresses and triple abx ointment may help, if worsens, call doctor.
Yes: Lupus can cause deformities of fingers but not joint erosions.
Have an on going irritation with the skin on my finger. They look like blisters but I have more itching, swollenness on the cuticle, dyshodrosis?
Probably right: It does sound like you have dyshidrosis or eczema of the hands. This is usually treated with topical cortisone creams, decreasing the number of times a day you wash your hands, using a mild soap and rubber gloves with cotton gloves underneath them when you do the dishes. This is usually worse in the winter and better in the summer. You should see a dermatologist.
I thought I had paronychia but now along with the cuticle infection there is about 10 wart like or blisters starting to form in the same finger. Er??
Herpes? Staph?: It could stil be paronychia with a secondary staph infection. But this also sounds like herpes (called herpetic whitlow when it involves the finger). This would be most likely if you also have newly acquired oral or genital herpes; or your finger were in contact with the oral or genital area of someone with herpes. Get examined ASAP; make sure an HSV PCR test is done (not just blood test).
What can cause bilateral joint pain? Began in knee's and now fingers, wrists, lump on each arm by wrist. Ra/lupus test neg 3yrs ago, not fibromyalgia

I'm a baker and have lupus/sjogrens. Sometimes when I'm using the piping bags I get really bad pain in my wrists/fingers. Is there something I can do?
13 year old son had HSP 3 yrs ago, now has perniosis with bad lesions and blisters. Tested neg for lupus & sjogrens- any other possible connection?
Lesions: You need to see rhemuatolgist to rule out any rhemuatological disease associated with Rynaud's phenomenon,
Maybe: You can get certain blistering skin conditions associated with lupus. I need more information like are the blisters on your skin, and or inside your mouth or nose? A dermatologist would help you.See 1 more doctor answer
Can herpes & lupus when it cums to break out of blister act the same? Does herpes blister have an odor or does lupus blister have an odor?
Lupus and herpes: There is a blistering form of lupus called bullous lupus. Blisters are large or small, there are many of them and they are distributed evenly on both sides of the body. Herpes is one location, grouped vesicles on a red patch. People with weakened immune systems may have blisters in more than one location. Neither lupus nor herpes blisters have an odor unless infected. Please see your doctor asap.
Tendon at the middle finger knuckle slips out of place and hurts too. Dr said that it happens because it gets weaker there because of my Lupus. Agree?
See Rheumatology: Lupus can be very difficult to live with depending on the severity of your disease, but with close rheumatological supervision and treatment, it may be able to be controlled more appropriately. Best wishes.
Blister very easily from slightest scratch, bump. Sometimes w/ blood. Started after stress, anxiety last yr. Lupus docs unsure of condition.
How to tell lupus from jra? I having joint pain since I was15.The are no other symptoms. My fingers are now deform. It hurts esp in morning and when cold
See a rheumatologist: The best way is to see a rheumatologist. The differential is not that difficult and can be accomplished through a history and physical, lab studies and x rays.See 1 more doctor answer
I have horizontal ridges on my finger nails and I'm being tested for lupus. Is that a sign of an autoimmune disease?
Probably not.: I've never seen lupus cause horizontal nail ridges, although I suppose it's possible. Certain medications can do it, as can diabetes and certain systemic diseases. If you're not on any medications, your doctor may wish to extend the workup to look for other internal causes, besides lupus.See 1 more doctor answer
I was just told by my doctor that I either have lupus or roseasa on my face! It's very red and spotted almost looks like scaley blisters!
Depends: I assume that your doctor is doing things to evaluate this more fully. See if you are going to be seeing a dermatologist or rheumatologist in their near future.
