I take a daily dose of 100mg of methadone and have been given a script for Ultram for tumor pain. Is this combo okay?
I just took my last dose of methadone, 5 mg. At 6am this morning. I've dropped down from 30 to 5 in a month. Is it safe to take Ultram now for pain?
So taking low dose adderall and low dose ultram are not good to take together? I am prescribed by my Dr one 10mg adderall twice a day, 50mg ultram 3 times a day, and one klonopin twice daily.... I trust my doctor but people are human and make mistakes? I
Interactions: Technically, Ultram and Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) do have an interaction in that they can increase the risk of seizures, more so with higher doses of each. And Ultram and Klonopin can cause central nervous system depression (can make you extra sleepy and not know what you're doing) as well as respiratory depression (decrease you're breathing). Not sure of question: I'm not clear on what you're seeking - a non-narcotic pain reliever or specifically one in the class w/tramadol.Tramadol is pretty much unique in the way it affects brain's pain receptors w/out all the side-effects of opiates. Tramadol use increases serotonin levels. Thus abrupt stop may cause withdrawal symptoms similar to may antidepressants such as zoloft/celexa etc...Since your use is high and of long duration, weaning over 2-3 wks is advised...Please consult your doc for instructions...
