Cause?: I doubt that the allergy to doxycycline can linger on this long and thus your itching must be from something else. In the absence of skin rash, dry skin is the most common cause for itching. Have you tried applying a moisturizer on your body 2x daily with one <3 mins after bathing? ...Read more

No: They are completely different types of antibiotics so a bactim allergy would not indicate a Doxycycline allergy. If you've never used Doxycycline there is no reason to suspect or look for an allergy to it. ...Read more
