Does Yaz Make Your Breast Hurt
If you have breast implants, can you still breast feed your baby? Does it make your breasts look weird?
Yes but be informed: It is very safe but there are some concerns that I have addressed in the video link below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fybsihrevec;sns=em in fact it has been shown that women with silicone breast implants produce milk with less silicone than formula fed infants. There are other concerns about capsular contracture and ptosis which are discussed in the video. ...Read moreSee 4 more doctor answers
Not commonly: Breast cancer may often be a firm hard painless lump that is felt on breast examination. Pain alone is not necessarily a sign of breast cancer. Certainly in prepubertal girls estrogen should not be used. ...Read more

Probably : Hormonal birth control might affect milk supply, so it's best to use a non-hormone method, like a copper iud. Birth control that doesn't have estrogen, like Nexplanon implants or the mini pill, is probably better than a regular pill like yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol). If you start on birth control with hormones, keep track of how much milk you are making, and consider another method if it decreases. ...Read more

See a GYN endocrinol: Oral hormone is NOT the only way to deal with PCOS. In fact it is not essential at all. Depending on the details, METFORMIN and SPIRONOLACTONE are the usual remedies. Significant weight reduction often cures PCOS. If you do not like sagging breasts, wait until you get down to your desired weight, then see a breast surgeon about mammoplasty. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I'm on yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) for about 6weeks now, and i see a huge difference in breast and nipple enlargement. My breasts are also very tender. Is this normal?
Breast changes: as birth control pills work by tricking your body into believing that it is already pregnant and therefore preventing its release of another egg, your body experiences similar changes that you would see in pregnancy such as the enlargement of your breasts. This may be a welcome or unwelcome change that you can discuss with your doctor to adjust dose or discuss different options. Still normal. ...Read more
