Can you take Xanax (alprazolam) as needed for "freakouts" when prescribed buproprion XL, or does that cause a seizure risk? If Xanax (alprazolam) is used once or less per week?
Probably ok: The seizure risk you are concerned about is related to,the bupropion XL , not the interaction with Xanax (alprazolam). The seizure risk increases with dosage so I would speak with your doc about your concerns.
