Does not sound right: This is what we call unintentional weight loss and should be investigated. No change in intake or activities, but significant wt loss suggests some metobolic/endocrine/neoplastic process is likely. Yes: Congratulations on the weight loss and commitment to regular exercise! twenty-three pounds does not seem like a lot, but that depends on where you started. The fat layer in the body converts estrogen to other hormones, so conceivably, weight loss could change the ratio of hormones you're used to, and therefore affect your periods.
