Why would I have anxiety attacks from taking a very low dose of Inositol (300mg)? It's not listed as a side effect. Its supposed to help anxiety.
Inositol: the problem with many supplements you take is they have not been subjected to studies but are supported by anecdotal or self reported uses. You also do not know if the supplement is pure. It may have reacted with something else you ingested as well, it is reported to cause agitation with caffeine. Or it may be doing nothing and your baseline anxiety is acting up. ...Read more

Yes you can, BUT: Please don't rely solely on Ativan or even inositol to deal with your anxiety. If you haven't already, please get a comprehensive evaluation of your anxiety by a psychiatrist and psychologist who knows cbt and other talk therapies well.
