Does The Jolly Jumper Help Walking
No: Walkers and jumpers do not help a baby learn to walk. Walkers and jumpers are ok to use under adult supervision, and for less than 30-60 minutes at one time. They are not for keeping a toddler in, without supervision. Dangers include crashing into furniture corners, flipping over, falling down stairs, and sliding through the seat (possibly getting tangled up and possibly getting choked).See 4 more doctor answers

The best!: Walking is the exercise! fish swim, birds fly, land-based mammals walk. Except for last 50 years, we spent most of our time standing/walking. Is walking 30 min then sitting all day good exercise? It beats 24 hours of just sitting. (see "23.5 hours" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auains6higo ) even better? Sit fewer than 3 hours a day & add 2+ good years to your life. http://tinyurl.com/6q69wtl.See 1 more doctor answer
By 16 months: Some babies are comfortable crawling for months and some skip crawling to go straight to walking. It is normal for babies to take up to 16 months to learn to walk. If still not walking then, s/he should be evaluated for motor delay. Remember to give baby plenty of opportunities for safe movement -- too much carrying or bringing things over to your baby can cause delay too.See 5 more doctor answers

On How Many Legs???: Depends on your age, conditioning and how much you want to exert yourself. But let's say you are younger than 45 and just want to walk at the average 5 feet per second. So that times 60 seconds per minute then times 60 minutes per hour or18,000 feet per hour and there's 5,280 feet in a mile so that's 3.4 miles an hour, which is 5.5K per hour (3.4X1.6). So, it would take 5/5.5=0.9 hour, or 54 minutesSee 2 more doctor answers
You can: And in fact a gentle walk may aid in digestion(at least motility wise) ... there have actually been studies in this regards. But you have to listen to your body. If you are going to try to jog or run, it may predispose you to nausea, heartburn, and stomach pains/cramps. If that's the case, just slow things down or stop all together.See 1 more doctor answer
