Does Smoking Cause Breast Fibrocystic Breast Disease
Can be hereditary: Painful breast swelling and lumpiness in the breasts, worse around the menstrual cycle, is a common feeling from fibrocystic breasts. Dense mammogram findings and cysts can be seen on breast ultrasound. Hereditary factors may cause some women to have more fibrocystic problems than others. Some sites say that this condition affects more than half of women. It resolves with menopause.See 1 more doctor answer

Common problem: Fibrocystic disease/changes is very common in women. This is most often seen during the menstrual cycle. Breast feel lumpy and painful which is caused by cyst formation (fluid filled areas) due to hormonal changes. Some women may have these changes without being on their menstrual cycle. Caffeine may cuase the cysts to be overactive resulting in pain. This is not related to cancer. http://www.See 1 more doctor answer
Not sure of your?: I am not sure of what you are asking. Please rephrase your question and ask again. Breasts are composed of fatty tissue as well as denser "breast" tissue. Depending on many things the ratio of fat to denser 'breast" tissue varies from person to person and throughout life.See 1 more doctor answer
Fibrocystic breasts: Fibrocystic breast disease is characterized by lumpiness and usually discomfort in both breasts. The lumpiness is due to small breast masses or breast cysts. The condition is very common and is benign. These lumps/ cysts are often periodically affected by the hormonal changes of the menstrual cycle.
Common, benign: Fibrocystic breast disease is a common, benign (not cancerous) condition. It is the most common cause of "lumps" in both breasts and can be painful. It can be due to the responsiveness of breast tissue to hormones. The size of the lumps and the associated pain often change with changes in a woman's menstrual cycle.See 1 more doctor answer
Variable: Fibrocystic symptoms can range from mild breast discomfort and swelling around the time of the menstrual period, to more firm hard breast lumps and cysts that may be very tender or painful. Often the symptoms are worse during the menstrual cycle. Sometimes the breast lumps can be fluid cysts that come and go around the menstrual period too.
I have fibrocystic breast disease but I had a hyst and since then it has turned into sagging and less bumpiness?
Benign: Fibrocystic breast condition is a common condition. Associated with tender breast swelling & benign breast lumps or cysts. Discomfort worse around menstrual cycle. Symptoms can get worse with some hormone or bcp medications. Does not lead to cancer. Can make mammograms difficult to read if there is increased internal breast density.
Lumpy-Bumpy Breasts: Fibrocystic changes are a spectrum of pathologic findings seen on biopsy. This has morphed into a clinical term for "lumpy-bumpy" breast tissue and/or dense tissue seen on mammography. This is not a disease, just a variant of normal. This requires no treatment, just reassurance. If it is associated w/pain, caffeine avoidance, vitamin e, primrose oil, and nsaids have been used w/marginal success.
Lumps and/or pain: Fibrocystic breast disease is quite common with 40% to 50% of women having this problem. Physical exam findings include lumpy, nodular, granular breast tissue in some or all areas of the breast. Many women with fibrocystis breast disease have breast pain or tenderness that commonly fluctuates with the menstrual cycle. The symptoms sometimes increase with more caffeine or chocolate in the diet.See 1 more doctor answer
Lumpy-Bumpy Breasts: Most women's breasts are "lumpy-bumpy" and often hurt just before/during one's menstrual cycle. When this "flies above the radar", we give it fancy names like "mastalgia" and "fibrocystic changes". Some women respond to caffeine avoidance, vitamin e, oil of primrose, or even occasional nsaids. Please discuss your concerns with your gynecologist--they should be able to reassure you not to worry.
Caffeine: You can try decreasing your caffeine intake, which includes : coffee, tea, iced tea, chocolate, sodas, mountain dew. Be sure you perform monthly breast self exams and see your doctor for any abnormal lumps.

No: Vertigo is a phenomenon of Vestibular neuritis or labyrinthitis. an inner ear problem usually related to infection (usually viral).
