Other reasons.: In addition to your spider veins, you sound as if you may also have varicose veins. Your symptoms, however, are not typical of just vein problems. You should start with a full venous evaluation by a vein specialist including a venous reflux ultrasound. Depending on this, you may also need to have other causes of your symptoms evaluated such as orthopedic and neurologic. ...Read more

A doctor gave me trazodone for leg pain he says my blood vessels are constricted and gave me trazodone what should I take?

Talk to the doctor: Please make sure it was given for leg pain with blood vessel constriction. It could be that he gave it to you for your concurrent depression and/or insomnia. Some times: If revasculizing leads to a higher flow rate and increased pressure then small blood vessels may open up and deliver more oxygen to the tissues. But if the small vessels are clogged as we see with diabetes ( which effect small and large vessels) then it may not help. Hopefully there are only small isolated areas of blockage and the body will compensate with making new collateral vessels. ...Read more

I have Crohn's disease and been on budesonide 9mg for 6 week. I've had severe right leg pain for 5 week, its hard to walk. Can budesonide cause this?

Possibly, so ask Dr: I'll give a link to a long list of side effects, but definitely ask your doctor and try to find an alternative treatment. In addition to medical procedures and rx, you might find some additional support in cbt therapy or learning meditation/relaxation skills. They can't hurt and have no side effects. http://www.drugs.com/sfx/budesonide-side-effects.html best! ...Read more
