Huge sinus pressure for two months. ..Nose, under eyes. Tension on my neck, being dizzy, out of balance, luck of concentration, blurry vision?
Migraine vs other: If blurred vision or does not go away or gets worse, see eye dr for vision check [eye strain] or neurologist to be sure nothing more serious, may need labs and mdi of the brain if don't resolve. Take excedrin migraine[generic ok], get rest, be sure no cause like smoking, alcohol /drug abuse, lack of sleep, sleep apnea[snoring and wake gagging] ect.
Yes: It is not uncommon to have sinus pain from sinus disease or sinus congestion. However, it is persistent or if there is fever and neurological symptoms such as headaches or visual problems it should be checked out. You want to make certain that there is not the development of a sinus abscess or worse a brain abscess. You should have this evaluated by your doctor.
Probably not: Sinus pressure and infection can cause a pressure sensation behind the eyes (and rarely orbital infection), but it should not cause visual symptoms. "strobe light flashes" are more likely a retinal or optic nerve symptom, or possibly a migraine symptom. People with symptom of flashing should have an eye exam to rule out retinal problems.See 1 more doctor answer

Please go to ER asap: You have headache with nausea and dizziness plus blurred vision sometimes. This is not good b/c many possible scenarios, brain tumor, mass, encephalopathy, possible expanding sinusitis, intracranial bleed etc... Please go to Emergency Room asap to be examined and have blood tests and imaging (CAT, MRI) to make sure you do not have the above conditions. Good luck and take care.
I have sinus pressure on left side of face, ear aches/head sometimes and have dried bloody boogers in left nostril at times. What is the cause of this?
MY ACHING HEAD: Sinuses are air-filled structures in our heads that warm & filter the air we breathe while decreasing the weight of our skull. When inflamed and filled with mucus, it is like having heavy, water balloons pressing on your face from the inside (ouch). Consider antihistamines (Cetrilizine) and/or decongestants (Pseudoephedrine). If not improving, consult me and we'll figure it out together.
Sinus congestion: Sinus congestion is usually felt in the forehead or cheeks. Do you have associated nasal congestion or nasal mucus? If so, irrigate your nasal canals with warm salt water to promote drainage. Perhaps you would be better off being evaluated by an otolaryngologist to see if there truly is a sinus problem rather than symptoms due to eye strain or muscle contraction tension type discomfort.See 2 more doctor answers
I have had sinus pressure on my nose and some pressure under my eyes for a week. What could this be? No congestion either, which seems odd.
Dryness: Possibly you're having dryness of the nasal passages from winter heating and lack of humidity in your house or work environment. Irrigations of your nasal passages with warm salt water and/or a humidifier in your bedroom may help.
