Depends: Ryr is a statin - it is not regulated by the fda. Statins do not cause joint pain or arthritis. They do cause muscle pain. The side effect is dose related. Smaller doses are often tolerated even in people who haven't tolerated a variety of statins at standard doses. Ryr may also cause muscle pain, depending on the amount you take and the concentration of statin in your batch.

Keratoderma blennorrhagica, a rash on the palms and soles of the feet, is seen with reactive arthritis. This arthritis is typically associated with eye pain and pain urinating. It can be associated with HIV infection. Chlamydia can also cause rash on palm with hand arthritis.

Rheumatoid Arthritis: At your age it is more likely to be rheumatoid arthritis or another collagen disease like lupus etc. Only way you can find out is by consulting your family physician or a rheumatologist. Less likely if only:: Arthralgia occurs in approximately 30% of patients with the acute retroviral syndrome. Other symptoms are Fever (75%), Fatigue (68%), Myalgia (49%), Rash (48%), Headache (45%), Sore throat (40%), Enlarged cervical lymph nodes (39%), Night sweats (28%) and Diarrhea (27%). If you only have joint pains it's possible but much less likely, that you have acute HIV. Arthralgia is not a symptom of chronic HIV.
