Relax: Colon cancer doesn't behave this way and is very, very rare in 19 year olds. Sure, but...: How to define "constipation?" A medical definition is bowel infrequency (less than one bowel movement every 3-4 days). I know of no patient who died due to bowel infrequency. On the other hand, an obstructed colon that ruptures, leaks, infarcts can be life threatening if the obstruction is not relieved. Virtualy impossible: Colon cancer is practically unheard of in the pediatric population. By the brief history it is conceivable that you have problems due to constipation and an inadequate diet.
