Skin? : It would be incredibly abnormal to have skin coming out of your vagina after a c-section. In fact this doesn't make sense. Pelvic Floor Rehab: I would recommend seeing a Urogynecologist who can perform pelvic floor rehabilitation. Strengthening the pelvic floor muscles and the sphincter in particular will help with the healing process now and hopefully save you from some problems later in life. If you are considering having more children, I recommend discussing with your Ob/Gyn the pros/cons of another vaginal birth vs. a c-section. ...Read more
