Has : Has your friend been to combat? If he does have ptsd, it can be an illness that causes serious damage to relationships. What you are describing is not an "antisocial attitude". Antisocial is someone who lacks a conscience. It sounds like your friend is having difficulty tolerating being around others and may be experiencing panic attacks.
