Is Muscle milk ok to give to my 12 year old son. He is a very active athlete.

Is Muscle milk ok to give to my 12 year old son.
He is a very active athlete.

Protein: Muscle milk is just a high protein shake, with vitamins, minerals. If your son gets adequate protein from food, this is probably unnecessary. An athletic 12 year old is probably eating a lot. If his diet is balanced and healthy, he is in good shape. A bit more protein will not harm your son, but I tend to be concerned about what else may be in these shakes (read ingredients carefully). ...Read more

Oats & Milk: are carbs (which turn to sugar) but protein is needed for the possibility of gaining muscle mass. Consider a protein powder shake in the morning. Also do some light body training or see a personal trainer. Above all, like yourself and be neat, clean, and a decent person. That's more attractive than anything else. Peace and good health. What do you advise if i was sick since july last year from muscle milk and I am afraid i got mad cow?
