Took 5day pred burst 3 weeks ago. Now want to take 7day Medrol (methylprednisolone) pack to ease severe unrelenting cough. Is this safe or too close together?

Is it okay to take Dextromethorphan while on virtussin AC? For persistent cough, dr gave me virtussin and medrol (methylprednisolone) dose pack.

Went to doc 6 days ago for sore throat it better but got dry cough .ears feel like Fluid sometimes hard to pop .taking clarithromycin and medrol pack ?
