Why bother?: Colorado has legalized possession of marijuana in small amounts for recreational purposes, and you do not need a "medical marijuana card." pot is not particularly great for insomnia anyway. Insomnia is not a diagnosis - it is a symptom of something else. Intoxication with marijuana may result in a temporary sense of relaxation or even giggles, but this is not the same as "helping with depression." to really be helpful with depression, the substance would need to cause all symptoms to remit -- and be sustained over time, not only during intoxication.
