Maybe: If this is pregnancy # 1 then labor occurs with significant regular intervals of back pain/contractions of 3 to 5 minutes apart. If you can't walk talk, laugh or breathe, and the intervals are as described, you are probably in early labor. Call you OB md for more advice. ...Read more

Sacroiliac joint: Probably the most common cause of low back pain that i see in clinic during and after a pregnancy is sacroiliac joint disorder. Consider seeing a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist in your area. Google "sacroiliac joint pain" and see if that sounds like you. Go to L;D: If you are vomiting that means you are unlikely to keep down fluids, in which case, you likely might need an IV and to receive IV fluids. It sounds like a viral illness, meaning that typically self-limited and will go away in 12-24 hours, but go to l;d so you can be evaluated for dehyrdation. Sometimes nausea and vomiting is assc with labor, but go to l;d and find out. Good luck! ...Read more
