Cortisol: This is a very complex system. In very basic terms cortisol is produced in response to stress and feeds back inhibiting production of itself (inhibiting crh and acth). Over replaced: As your TSH is low and you're having symptoms of hyperthyroid (i presume), the answer is simply that your dose is too high. Dropping it carefully, as your doctor is doing, should work to bring your levels back in to control. (low TSH = high thyroid). ...Read more
