Lasik and dry eye: I let all my lasik patients know that dry eye could be a problem for 6-12 mon after surgery, and for older patients, mabye longer because they already have dry eye sypmptoms. Your lasik doctor should see you back and make some recommendations as part of your surgery. I would rec preservative free artificial tears (e.g.Refresh) every 1-2 hours during day, to start with, then add other tx prn. ...Read more
