Yes: As always, it is good to take the ibuprofen with some food to protect your stomach from side effects. The claritin (loratadine) part of clarinase has minimal side effects. The sudafed part can make some people edgy, heart racing, or cause difficulties with sleep. If you notice that you could use just the plain claritin (loratadine).
