Can I take naproxen 250mg with tramadol 50mg as I have ran out of ibuprofen 500mg and the pain in ankle is 10/10 pain also taking prednisolone 5mg x8 time in the morning will that have any affect?
Nsaids: Naprosyn (naproxen) and Ibuprofen are both NSAIDS, so you can not take both, but you may take naprosyn (naproxen) as instructed to instead of the Ibuprofen, . BUT note, it is important for continuity of care and good pt/Dr relations to inform your treating Doctor of the medications you are taking so they can be properly documented and that allows the Doctor to know how you are and stay in tuned with your case. ...Read more

It's best to check with your surgeon, but Advil (ibuprofen) should be fine and can help with pain without making you dizzy. It also will not cause constipation like hydrocodone. You can start with 2 pills every 6-8 hours and see if it helps.
If you need to, you can take 3 pills every 8 hours. Make sure to take Advil (ibuprofen) with food. ...Read more
