Some points: If you have uncontrolled hyperthyroidism, tremor can be secondary ; even after pharmacological control, tremor may persist for a few weeks, but endocrine system needs to be stabilized. Do not see need to term this essential tremor as that would likely be incorrect here. Your metoprolol is not a bad choice, but other beta blockers may work better. Probably Not: If your TSH is 1.51, then you are not hyperthyroid. I would see your doctor and ask him to evaluate you in person - he will probably want to order labs to rule out diabetes, which can cause weight loss and polyuria.
