I don't know: What under control means. If your thyroid levels are normal on treatment, then the symptoms you're experiencing are almost certainly not due to the thyroid. My wife has tingling in her left arm during a BM. She gets short of breath and light headed. Hyperthyroidism was diagnosed, but still has symptoms.
BM, SOB, L arm pain: Have an EKG< see a Dr. do a thyroid profile, do a treadmill test. She may have coronary disease, and ischemic heart failure. Do a lipid profile and Glucose Hb+ AC1 She must see an endocrinologist and be on therapy as required. Have a cardiologist rule out coronary disease. Nerve issue: If the tingling is within the distribution of a cutaneous nerve then it's possible that that nerve is being pinched somewhere. The tingling of hyperventilation is due to changes in calcium in your blood so if the symptom is similar to hyperventilation then calcium levels should be checked.
