Depends: If your baby is prone to seizures due to fever, absolutely wake him. Motrin doses should be 6 hours apart at least. Other options include cool compresses, tepid (NOT COLD) bath, and being careful not to overdress him. If you want to give him medication to bring the fever down, but it's too early for the next dose of motrin, a dose of tylenol (acetaminophen) in between can help. ...Read more
