Safe: All abortions are incredibly safe procedures ... In fact, they are safer than child birth. Usually they do not cause any fertility issues. That said, without knowing more about your case - it's impossible to say for sure. Possibly: Pregnancy related procedures (d&c, cesarean section) all can affect the uterine lining. Endometrial infection may also. Asherman's syndrome may develop in these cases where adhesions form inside the uterine cavity & limit implantation of future pregnancies.
