While treating gonorrhea I had protected sex now the medications are finish my vagina itches and is swollen, ....what do I do?

Itch: Need to be reevaluated because you could potentially have a secondary infection such as yeast or bacterial. Start probiotics as well. Also need a test of cure for your treatment time.

The tip of my urethra itches badly I had gonorrhea I took doxycycline100mg and now a week later the tip of my penis itches no discharge just itch?

Gonorrhea? Yeast?: Doxycycline by itself is not a recommended treatment for gonorrhea; maybe it hasn't cleared up entirely. Or you maybe a yeast infection triggered by doxy, especially if uncirumcised. Or another STD entirely, like herpes if you also have visible blisters, sores, etc. Return to the doctor or clinic where your gonorrhea was treated to be rechecked. Good luck.

Vaginitis: Is most commonly caused by yeast (Candida), trichomonas, and bacterial vaginitis, usually Gardnerella, but other bacteria such as strep and staph can also be culprits, in addition to the std's listed above. Please under microscope or swabs and cultures will help make diagnosis. Please see your doctor or gyn.

Can low iron cause itching skin, can not find any environmental causes. Was on a period for almost 4 months, itches started after that stopped.

Yes: Low iron has been reported to be a cause of itchy skin and even hair loss. If you have had a period for 4 months, it is a highly likely problem. Hope you have been followed by your GYN doctor re. The period as well since it is by no means normal. At the minimum, get a CBC to check for anemia..

Here are some. ..: The social profile on the described sexual relationships implicates you're in a high-risk group contracting STDs. Therefore, it could be more beneficial for you and all the partners to be screened, evaluated, treated, & followed judiciously. Besides, be counseled & stick to a higher standard of practicing safe sex so to minimize STD recurrence and unwanted STD-related complications if untreated.

I was told I had gonorrhea and a yeast infection and I was treated for it. Now I have sime bumps, a clearish-white discharge and itching. What is it?

I was told I had gonorrhea and a yeast infection and I was treated for it. Now I have sime bumps, a clearish-white discharge and itching. What is it?

Possible yeast: If you are referring to a whitish "cottage cheese like" vaginal discharge which started after antibiotics, you could have a yeast infection. You could try treating it by buying a vaginal cream like monistat of go see your doc for a prescription. Also, in the future, to avoid infections, protected sex is a really good idea.

Yellow discharge and a little itching after 2 days of gonorrhea medication I got a shot and 2 azithromycin pills please help?

Yellow discharge and a little itching after 2 days of gonorrhea medication I got a shot and 2 azithromycin pills please help?

Probably OK: It can take a week for gonorrhea symptoms to clear, especially if you also have chlamydia, present in almost half of people with gonorrhea. Your treatment (ceftriaxone and azithromycin) will cure both. But if these symptoms started only after treatment, it could be yeast triggered by the antibiotics. Return to the doctor or clinic if symptoms get worse, or if still there a week after treatment.

Itchy vagina for 1 month. Tested negative for gonorrhea, chlamydia, bv, trich and yeast. No pain, just itching. What could it be??

Examine your soap: You need to check and make sure that your underwear is fully rinsed if machine washed as the material can retain dried soap powder or liquid which will reactivate when confronted by a moist vulva. Secondly, make sure that you use only Dove, Ivory or Caress soaps on the vulva as other soaps are too harsh and can cause itching.

See a doctor/OB: This is highly dependent on where you are in your menstrual cycle and if you have missed any periods. Go to an OB, get a full exam and give all your relevant history. Could be pre-menstrual symptoms or something else if your period is late - pregnancy. But the doctor will help narrow down the possibilities...

My doctor gave me azithromycin for chlamydia 6/11. I took them and also got a shot at the ER to prevent gonorrhea 6/19. When does itching go away?

Neither cause itchin: Itching is not a symptom of gonorrhea or chlamydia. Ask if you were tested for trichomoniasis which is another common STD. you may have developed a yeast infection from the antibiotics. This can cause itching. Try an over the counter yeast cream while you wait for an appointment with an Obgyn.

I had gonnerhea and I took all my medicine than I washed with some colorful soap and now my vagina itches and swoll. What could this be?

Rash or STD: Could be a reaction to the soap, or it could be recurrence of gonorrhea, particularly if your partner wasn't treated. You should get checked to be sure. In general, it is best not to use colorful or highly perfumed soaps as they may be irritating.
