Are you asking: if you could have bulimia and not know it? That is possible. I have treated some bulimic patients who got to the point where they could vomit after eating without putting fingers down throat. Gastroparesis isn't bulimia. Gastroparesis: The effects are dehydration, vitamins and mineral deficiency with muscle loss ; weakness. It is interesting to note you are 17 year old. Increase calories: J tube feeds require elemental feedings, which have been pre digested. You either are not absorbing your nutrients, or not getting enough of them. Speak with your GI doc to discuss your concerns and get proper feedings. ...Read more
