Plain water: Assuming that your water is potable (consumable by humans), you don't need anything fancy, eg bottled etc. Even fruit juice isn't ideal. Better to eat actual fruit which includes fiber etc rather than drink excess calories. Many studies suggest benefit from tea & coffee but still not clear as to how much how often of which kind. Unless there is tumor producing low glucose (insulinoma) most people keep normal levels of glucose even while starving. Water is always the best choice as an additional drink to your baby's usual milk. Too much sugar: Our bodies need a balance of sugar and fiber, with much more fiber than sugar.
