Gr 1 means placenta is close, Gr 4 means it's directly overlying/blocking the baby's exit -- high chance of preterm labor & bleeding; you'd need a C/S at 36-37wks. You will need periodic ultrasound monitoring to follow this issue and, most importantly, if you have significant bleeding, pain, or preterm labor get to hospital right away. Don't plan any trips. Possible: By "sinking in" of ankles , I assume you mean pitting edema. Large fibroids can put pressure on the large iliac veins that bring blood from the legs and feet. That can cause a backup of fluid in the tissue of the legs and ankles which leaves a temporary fingerprint when you push in on the ankle.
