Hard to Say: When pregnant, there are so many things going on. Your hormones are very different causing your ligaments to stretch quite a bit especially in the pelvis resulting in pain. Also the baby's position can place stress on your spine resulting in bulging discs or even herniated disks causing the sciatica pain. Support belt: If you think you are in labor or something is seriously wrong then you need to contact your obgyn now for evaluation. If you think this is normal discomforts of pregnancy consider buying a pregnancy support belt. These are available at maternity stores and Target. Happy new yr! i'm on the nuvaring. I'm getting pelvic pain but i also have sciatica right now and i think the pain may be traveling. Is either possible? I worry about ov cancer too but that's a reach

Doubt OV CA: Especially if you have had a normal gyn exam within a reasonable time. If you have sciatica it could all be coming from your low back, had anyone done an MRI or even x-rays to see if they can see a problem? Physical therapy might help but it would be nice to know what the problem is! ...Read more

Muscle strain: It is very common to sustain injuries when you start to gear up for a longer race 10k, 1/2 or full marathon you may have a mild strain which may resolve with rest, ice, and nsaids you may need to get a good ortho exam also though you may not want to- a brief break from training may be necessary to calm symptoms down so you can ultimately reach your race goals. ...Read more
