Avoid raw meats: pregnant women are 10 more likely to get listeriosis isymtoms of listeria include headaches, muscle aches fever ,chills, nausea and vomiting . you should consult your doctor no and immediately if symtoms occur it can be treated with antibiotics. it can cause miscarriage prematurity, MR, blindness , and death

Food borne bacteria: Any bacterium can infect anyone when not properly refrigerated or cooked to an appropriate temperature prior to ingestion. Pre cooked and packaged foods still require the same conditions and if you are unsure of the above, common sense says to forego partaking the food item, pregnant or not.

Good: washing and cooking food thoroughly is the best way to avoid a food borne infection. Also if you hear of a breakout in a shopping store, and you bought something there that was recalled, bring it back for a full refund. Don't take the chance of using it.

Not really...: This post was already answered(and nicely so) by dr. Albert pizzo; please refer to it. Even if there were i would not recommend it; better to stick with more conventional treatments in this instance.

Get checked asap if you think you might have been exposed or infected.
