Does drinking 3 cups of green tea daily for a prolonged period of time decrease the effectiveness of the birth control pills? I take Yaz for 2 years.
No: Drinking green tea 3 times a day does not change the effectiveness of birth control pills. Of course, no pills are 100% effective, so there is always a very small chance a woman could become pregnant while using birth control pills, regardless of whether she drinks tea or not. I drink lipton lemon green tea....would this reduce the chances of conceiving...if so..can you recommend a green tea...that dont effect conceiving....
May help as long as:: Green tea in moderation may increase chances of conceiving. Plain green tea at 4 mugs of 12 ounces each day sounds ok. That means without creamers, sugars, or other sweeteners... and without tapioca pearls (boba).
