Not uncommon.: Many people feel irritation in their stomach after drinking coffee. Part of it is that caffeine can increase the amount of acid reflux. Many people have trouble even with decaf coffee though. The reason for that is not so clear. If you notice that coffee gives you troubles, you should stop drinking it. No: Not that I know of. Triggers for asthma include allergens (dust mite, pollen etc.), environmental (weather), irritants (dust, strong chemicals/odors), exercise, infections, reflux.
