Just finished flagly for c diff; i now have symptoms of prostatitis and my dr wants me to take doxycycline 100mg twice a day and vancomycin (250mg/4xday). Is this necessary to prevent c diff again?
Had loose stool for a month. Began within 24--48 hours of starting doxycyline hyclate. Not c diff. Now what?
Get colonoscopy...: Loose stools/change in bowel habits for a month duration without logical explanation after stool analysis requires further investigation.
