Inflammatory disease: Sounds like you have been given the dx of fibromyalgia. Otherwise, you have a very vague problem which is questionable in its diagnosis. Skin biopsy shows early connective tissue disease. What is connective tissue disease? Why would it cause a chest rash? Or flushing w/ stress, emotion?
Get 2nd pathologist: "Connective tissue disease" was an obsolete word for the lupus / scleroderma / dermatomyositis family decades ago. Unless this is a second-hand report of a biopsy that showed nonspecific inflammatory changes that anybody can have, I would ask that the case be reviewed by another pathologist if the rash might be a real problem. Lots of folks flush with stress ("stress urticaria"); it's normal. ...Read more

Maybe (not): Go see your doctor. Bruising without reason is also worrisome for clotting disorders. This can be exacerbated from excess Aspirin or other over-the-counter anti-inflammatories. Connective tissue disorder has nothing to do w/visible veins under pale skin. That's just genetics & nothing to worry about. But bruising/bleeding easily should definitely be checked out. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
