Constipation: If x-rays consistent with constipation you recommend a "MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol)" cleanout. This involves staying close to home and a toilet and I would give her one capful of MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) in 8 ounces of diluted Gatorade ( I like G2 Half water, half G2). Not the best.: Instead of using Colace (docusate sodium) a long term, a better approach would be to increase the amount of fiber in your diet and consider a fiber supplement, such as Metamucil, daily.
